Is the Verbier Air Show free?

Yes, entry to the Verbier Air Show is completely free for everyone.

From Friday 10 to Sunday 12 April 2026.

Where does the Verbier Air Show take place?

In Verbier, in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. The high-altitude shows take place at Mont Gele (3,023m) and the ground entertainment at Medran (1,530m).

What disciplines are featured?

Base jumping, wingsuit flying, acrobatic paragliding, aerobatics, aerial dance and speed riding.

Who are the athletes?

Confirmed athletes include Geraldine Fasnacht (wingsuit, base jumping) and Bungy Niouc. More athletes will be announced soon.

How do I get to Verbier?

By car: 2 hours from Geneva via the A9 motorway. By train: Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) to Martigny, then PostBus to Le Chable and gondola up to Verbier.

Is there parking?

Yes, the main car park is at Medran, close to the entertainment area. Additional parking is available in Verbier village.

Is the event family-friendly?

Absolutely. The entertainment at Medran is open to everyone, young and old. The high-altitude shows are also visible from the Medran slopes.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Aerial shows are weather-dependent. If conditions are unfavourable, some demonstrations may be postponed or cancelled. Ground entertainment at Medran will still go ahead.

Is there a gala?

Yes, the Verbier Air Show Gala takes place on Saturday 11 April at 8 PM at the W Verbier.

Do I need to book or register?

No booking or registration is required to watch the shows. Entry is free and open to all.

Can I take photos and videos?

Yes, personal photos and videos are welcome and encouraged. Share your shots with #VerbierAirShow.

What should I bring?

Warm layers (temperatures range from 5-15°C in April at 2,200m), sunglasses, sunscreen (UV levels are intense at altitude), and binoculars for the high-altitude shows.

What makes the Verbier Air Show unique?

It is the world's first high-altitude airshow. Unlike traditional airshows held at lowland airfields, the Verbier Air Show unfolds at 2,200m in the Swiss Alps, with jumps launched from Mont Gele at 3,023m.
